The Rules are here to ensure fair and balanced role-play. It has been and will continue to be updated and upgraded to evolve around the Community’s needs. This document is subject to change at the Community Manager and Head Admin’s discretion. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are up to date with the most recent rules, as you are still subject to punishment. Ignorance is not a legitimate excuse nor reason to evade punishment. [b][i]              1. General[/i] 1.1 Behaviour[/b] [list] [*][b]Please use your Common Sense™.[/b] [*][b]Any discriminatory behaviour, whatsoever, is not permitted. This is unacceptable and will be punished accordingly. During role-play you may be distasteful to an extent, however you may not make comments toward Race, Religion or anything about an individual’s personal life that you wouldn’t know in the RP situation.[/b] [*][b]Racist behaviour is allowed while RolePlaying. BUT if your use it in OOC (Out Of Character) or spamming it in chat or Admin chat you will be Warned or Banned {Depends on the Severity}.[/b] [*][b]Spamming of any kind of chat is not permitted. This includes Mic, Local, Advert or Admin/Reporting and OOC.[/b] [*][b]Micspamming of any kind, including, but not limited to: using voice modifiers, soundboards, blasting sound through your microphone, etc. is not allowed unless you’re a Hobo / Street Performer (You can’t run around and Micspam, it can be done in a neutral spot).[/b] [*][b]Respect everyone, no matter how disrespectful they may be to you. Please notify an administrator if you encounter such behaviour.[/b] [*][b]Listen to the admins. An admins' word is absolute. If you have a problem with it request a higher power or report the admin in question.[/b] [*][b]Do not ask for a rank. You can donate to get VIP Ranks, or apply on our forums to become a member of staff.[/b] [*][b]Do not hack, (D)DoS, act like a script kiddie or threaten to. This will result in a permanent ban.[/b] [*][b]Advertising anything that is no affiliated with SolitudeRP will not be permitted, whatsoever. There are certain exemptions, but you must request the permission of online staff beforehand. [/b] [*][b]Any content should not be considered offensive or sexual, it is unacceptable and unnecessary. Furthermore, content cannot be religious or pose any ethnic, religious, nationalistic or racist beliefs.[/b] [*][b]Refunds are not given as a right. They are only issued when the server itself is at fault (Such as a crash or a restart). This does not include player-side problems, other players or even staff members. Significant evidence that a refund is necessary is needed (Screenshots etc).[/b] [*][b]Name-Changing in any form to either evade punishment or evade an administrator situation will result in a ban.[/b] [*][b]Selling In-Game supplies and resources, such as money, is strictly prohibited (You may not sell or distribute money in-game for out of game money).[/b] [*][b]In OOC chat, English is the only language you may use.[/b] [/list] [b]1.2 Glitches, bugs, exploits and more[/b] [list] [*][b]If you find any bugs, glitches, or exploits of any kind, please report them to a member of staff.[/b] [*][b]Using bugs, glitches, or exploits to your advantage (or to others’ disadvantage) will result in a ban.[/b] [*][b]If you find someone using a bug, glitch, or exploit, please report them to an administrator.[/b] [/list] [b][i]          2. This includes killing people for no apparent reason.[/b] [*][b]Don't Scam other people, ether being lying about selling or making ridiculous prices (The Admins will be the judge of what is a scam).[/b] [*][b]You're  NOT allowed to sell VIP Printers, you can only give them to people who are basing with you, but you can sell Normal ones.[/b] [*][b]Do not break NLR (New Life Rule). After you die, you do not remember anything from your previous life. You may not return to the position(including the immediate vicinity) of your death for 3 minutes, and you are not allowed to take revenge.[/b] [*][b]Do not FailRP. (E.g. Raiding as a gun dealer, enforcing the law as a criminal, etc.)[/b] [*][b]Do not FearRP. (E.g. Running away from a mug/kidnap.)[/b] [*][b]Do not abuse props. (This includes prop/entity blocking, surfing, pushing, spamming, etc.)[/b] [*][b]Do not metagame. This is using/giving out information obtained in a non-RP way.[/b] [*][b]Use the OOC chat only for non-RP conversations. OOC stands for Out Of Character. Keep it like that.[/b] [*][b]Do not block off any NPCs. (Drug dealers, car dealer, medic, etc.)[/b] [*][b]Do not FDA (Fading Door Abuse) This includes opening fading doors with your keybind, instead of a button/keypad[/b] [*][b]Do not abuse No Collide (The Admins will be the judge if its abusive)[/b] [*][b]You're not allowed to change Jobs while being in an RP Event ( Job Abuse ).[/b] [*][b]Do not Abuse Spawn. (E.g During RP Events run back to spawn to avoid them)[/b] [*][b]Don't Abuse Wire! (Admins will be the Judge of what is Abuse and what's Not)[/b] [*][b]Don't Spawn any Abusive E2's! (Scare Box, Color Changer, Screen Changer, Ect...) {This will Result in a Ban}[/b] [*][b]Abusing advanced dupe to get access to props/tools that are blocked is not allowed.[/b] [*][b]The Casino, during the Purge, is a non-purge area. The Casino is also a non-event area.[/b] [*][b]If you are on a machine, you own that machine up-until your name expires, or until you move onto another machine. [/b] [*][b]The upstairs of the casino may be sectioned off to create a “VIP” sections. This may only go to those who pay.[/b] [*][b]Demotions must have a legitimate in-character/RP reason. You cannot demote for based of an OOC incident, such as a rule break.[/b] [*][b]LTAP (Leaving to avoid punishment) in any case is Not allowed. And will be treated with a Ban.[/b] [*][b]You can't do any RP while having a BUILDING sign (If you have a BUILDING sign, your only allowed to build).[/b] [*][b]You're not allowed to do an RP Events/Hits on someone with a BUILDING sign.[/b] [/list] [b]     [i]   2.2 Building [/i] 2.2.1 Location[/b] [list] [*][b]You may only build in/around pre-existing buildings, unless you are a hobo.[/b] [*][b]Police may build checkpoints on the street, but they must always be manned.[/b] [*][b]You must be able to get to the base on foot (E.g. not using the Parkour SWEP or on Inaccessible rooftops) [/b] [*][b]Do not build in other players’ bases, unless given the explicit permission from the base owner.[/b] [*][b]Small sections of the map may be blocked off (e.g. industrial or the old beach location). However massive sections cannot be blocked preventing players from reaching important parts of the map, only locations in which there is a dead end can be blocked (players should be able to do a full lap of the map without being blocked off).[/b] [*][b]Do not put a fading door on top of, behind of or in front of  the normal doors.[/b] [*][b]You cannot buy multiple properties to “save them” for a singular mega-base (There must be at least on player per property if there is to be a mega-base).[/b] [/list] [b]2.2.2 Building Signs[/b] [list] [*][b]You may not have any valuables in your base while you have a building sign up.[/b] [*][b]You can't do any RP while having a BUILDING sign (If you have a BUILDING sign, your only allowed to build).[/b] [*][b]You're not allowed to do an RP Events/Hits on someone with a BUILDING sign.[/b] [*][b]You're not allowed to Abuse the BUILDING sign (E.g. evading a hitman using the BUILDING, etc.)[/b] [/list] [b]2.2.3 KOS Signs[/b] [list] [*][b]You may only have one KOS sign.[/b] [*][b]You're KOS sign must be in a visible location.[/b] [*][b]You cannot have more than 3 KOS reasons.[/b] [*][b]“Loitering”, “Being Annoying”, etc. are not valid KOS reasons. Please choose something along the lines of “Past Line” (with a visible line, obviously) or “When Lockpicking/Cracking”.[/b] [/list] [b] 2.2.4 The Base / Mega Base[/b] [list] [*][b]You may only have 3 keypad controlled Fading doors (4 for the Mega Base).[/b] [*][b]You may only have 3 Button controlled Fading Doors.[/b] [*][b]You may use one-way props, but you are not allowed to shoot through them.[/b] [*][b]You can make shutters with buttons that open for shooting, but they must remain open for at least 5 seconds.[/b] [*][b]A keypad must open a door for at least 5 seconds after being cracked/opened. And you may make a Delay of 2 Seconds.[/b] [*][b]You are not allowed to abuse No Collide. This includes making a “maze” with certain props No Collided so that players have to find their way in.[/b] [*][b]You can not have more than one keypad per side of the door. (Raiders should be able to easily identify which keypad controls what door and they may Not be Reversed).[/b] [*][b]All fading doors must be controlled by either a keypad or a button.[/b] [*][b]Bases must be raidable. (This means that the attacker should have a fair chance to damage the defender.)[/b] [*][b]Between each Fading door, there must be enough space to fit 4 people STANDING. (NOT on top of each other, BUT standing near each other).[/b] [*][b]Keypads and buttons must reachable. (E.g. not hidden or too far away).[/b] [*][b]Do not build bases that are intentionally disorienting. (A room with all walls, the floor and the ceiling made out of the same material to intentionally disrupt the sense of orientation.)[/b] [*][b]Do not build bases with a “Crouch Entrance”.[/b] [*][b]You may not use invisible props for any purpose besides decoration.[/b] [*][b]You may not stack multiple keypad controlled fading doors tightly together or on top of eachother. (This prohibits the use of a police battering ram).[/b] [*][b]Do not Prop Block other people's cameras,drive ways,entrances. [/b] [*][b]Do not build in other people's Base/Around their base Unless you're basing with them.[/b] [*][b]Gap's in your shooting windows needs to be at least (025x025x025 Size)[/b] [*][b]You can make a Mega Base with only 2 people if there's less than 10 players on the server, but if there's more, you need at least 4 people to make a mega Base.[/b] [*][b]The Mega Bases Material Must be a Inanimate (Not Moving) for all Props.[/b] [*][b]If the base is too large you may be asked to remove it/remove part of it as it will cause lag.[/b] [/list] [b] 2.3 RP Events[/b] [list] [*][b]Kidnapping must be done realistically, in that, they must take place in alleys or houses so that they are out of the view of the public.[/b] [*][b]Leaving the server while being Raided will result in a Warn next time you Log In.[/b] [*][b]If you want to mute your in-game sound and/or ignore chat, do so at your own risk. You might be warned for several offences if you fail to notice an RP event taking place.[/b] [*][b]You may only counter an RP event if you are part of a government organisation, a Criminal Job or a Custom Job (The government organisation Don't need to advert Counter's).[/b] [*][b]When the PD or Bank are being Raided, POLICE & S.W.A.T Don't have NLR for Defending them.[/b] [*][b]As a Criminal Job You need to advert counter when countering an RP event on a member of your Gang/Base.[/b] [/list] [b] 2.3.1 Adverts[/b] [list] [*][b]Each RP Event should have a separate advert. (Example of what not to do: [Advert] Raid/Mug/Kidnap).[/b] [*][b]You must advert before the event is initiated, and before you set foot inside a building during a raid.[/b] [*][b]Be sure to advert when your event is done (E.g. [Advert] Raid Over).[/b] [*][b]If someone is annoying/harassing you, you can warn them using an advert. You must give them at least 2 warnings before engaging them with your weapon, with 10 seconds between each advert. (Example of such an advert: [Advert] Warning!
